Community belonging and collaboration
We seek to generate and promote a sense of belonging and cohesion among the different local actors in the community of Santa Rosa. Among them are other community-based organizations, churches, and local schools. At the same time, we are involved in the urban planning processes that are carried out by entities such as the local government and public universities.
Creative educational opportunities
In a world burdened by educational inequality, we contribute to the life of girls and boys from vulnerable communities through after-school tutoring, fostering their creative expression and engaging them in creation-care.

Ecological Justice
At ACA, we champion justice for all living creatures and the essential elements that sustain them. This is why we have committed ourselves to the reclamation of green spaces and have inspired our community members to actively participate in these initiatives. These endeavors also encompass environmental education, the contemplation of nature’s wonders, pollution reduction, reforestation, and joint neighborhood clean-up efforts. We firmly believe in the power of education to rehabilitate our environment and remain steadfast in our dedication to uphold our values and cherish all expressions of life.
Migrant and refugee accompaniment
At Casa Adobe, our unwavering commitment is to offer compassionate and all-encompassing support to migrants in Costa Rica. We prioritize creating spaces that foster meaningful dialogue, ensuring that migrants are not only heard but truly valued. Our services encompass psychological support, assistance with employment and housing searches, as well as the provision of clothing and food.
Moreover, we actively cultivate connections by collaborating with like-minded organizations. This collaborative effort allows us to build a wider network of support for migrants, guaranteeing that they receive the necessary assistance, regardless of where their journey may lead.
